- Prozza Prizes for best student in Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics.
- Awarded the Ernest Oppenheimer Trust Fellowship in 1978
- Awarded the Middleton-Shaw Fellowship by die Dental Association of South Africa in 1992 to study Dental and Professional Ethics in the USA.
